Cooper is a 16 year old Percheron Morgan Cross who has helped many students build confidence and become independent riders. He has also brought students to dressage shows and hunter paces. One of Cooper’s favorite pastimes: going on trail rides. He also loves to swim in rivers.

Elliot is a seasoned 25 year old Thoroughbred horse who loves kids. Before joining our Blue Sky Farm team, he was a good racehorse and a successful eventing horse. Now he loves spending time taking relaxing walks with Blue Sky students and volunteers in the riding ring and around the property. Elliot is Cooper’s best friend.

Sven is an 18 year old pony. He belongs to one of our board members, who is kindly letting Sven join our Blue Sky team for lessons with our younger students who enjoy riding a cute pony. Sven was an Amish driving pony before coming to Blue Sky Farm. He loves attention and cuddles just as much as he enjoys going to the ring to work.

Bella is a 16 year old spotted draft horse who was rescued from a Premarin farm in Canada when she was 8 years old. She is the mother of Panda and Violet and our team matriarch. Bella had a rough start in life. We love seeing how much her trust and confidence have grown over the years. She enjoys being brushed, spending time with her kids, and life on the farm.

Panda is a 9 year old spotted draft horse who was rescued from a Premarin farm in Canada as a foal. He has the distinction of being Bella’s baby, Violet’s little brother, and the biggest horse at Blue Sky! He is super sweet and loves all of the volunteers. Panda is still in training. We can’t wait for him to officially join our lesson team.

Violet is a 10 year old spotted draft horse who was rescued from a Premarin farm in Canada when she was a foal. She is Bella’s daughter, Panda’s big sister, and one of our most sturdy Blue Sky horses. Violet has done lots of trail rides and has participated in several horse training programs during her first decade. Kids love her gentle personality and how comfortable she is to ride.

Fluff is a fluffy white 14 year old mini who is known for his sweet disposition. He loves kids and is an experienced and calm companion. He is a great Blue Sky ambassador and the perfect teacher for kids who are learning to groom and hand walk horses.

Nutella is a cute 8 year old mini who loves to go out for walks with kids of all ages. Everyone loves combing and braiding her beautiful brown mane with its golden highlights. Her favorite treat is carrots.
